Complete a Certificate I in Hospitality as part of your learning journey!
Compass is excited to be offering students the opportunity to Complete a Certificate I in Hospitality (SIT10216) as part of their learning journey at Compass.
All current students and any new students who enrol at Compass prior to the start of Term 2, will be offered the opportunity to complete the “VET Taster”, facilitated by the Adelaide Institute of Hospitality (RTO 40138), who have been expertly delivering VET in schools for more than 15 years.
There are no fees for students to participate in the course – just like there’s no fees to enrol at Compass!
Training will be delivered on site at Compass, in our brand new Kitchen Hub. Students will complete a variety of units, from food hygiene and safety through to the preparation and presentation of simple dishes.
The Certificate I in Hospitality is a perfect introduction for those looking to explore a career in hospitality, enhance their skills as they look into casual work, or even build their own personal skills for everyday life.
Students who successfully complete the course will also have the opportunity to explore a Certificate II in Kitchen Operations (SIT20416) in Semester 2.
